Professor Takaaki Abe and Dr. Yuji Noguchi Participate in the Barth Syndrome Foundation International Conference, Where Professor Abe Delivered a Lecture
Professor Takaaki Abe of the Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering, Tohoku University, and Dr. Yuji Noguchi of the Division of Nephrology, Tohoku University, participated in the “2026 International Scientific, Medical, and Family Conference,” organized by the Barth Syndrome Foundation and held in Bonita Springs, Florida, USA, from July 19 (Sunday) to July 26 (Sunday), 2026. During the conference, Professor Takaaki Abe delivered an invited lecture.
This conference brought together patients and their families affected by Barth syndrome, researchers, physicians, and healthcare professionals from around the world. It provided an important international forum for sharing the latest research findings and medical information related to Barth syndrome.
